Beginners' classes

Autumn term 2016

The autumn term 2016 begins on Wednesday 24 August, at which time we also start accepting beginners. We accept beginners continuously during the entire months of August/September, so you can start practicing when it suits you best. We practice on Wednesdays 7.00pm - 9.30pm in Flogstaskolan, and on Fridays 6.30pm - 9.30pm in Johannesbäcksskolan.

A beginners' class consists of two consecutive introductory lessons and costs SEK200, which is your membership fee, and is to be paid in cash at the first lesson. If, after concluding the beginners' class, you decide to continue practising, it will cost another SEK1,000 for the term/practice fee.

For the beginners' class, regular training attire is acceptable, although it is desired that the kit as far as possible adheres to the same colour scheme as the proper practice dress, i.e. a white t-shirt or sweater (without zippers or buttons), black trousers and white socks. Later, you will get help by the instructors in ordering your own practice dress.

Other necessary equipment can be borrowed from the club to begin with, but when you have decided that kyudo is the thing for you, it is best to acquire at least your own shooting glove and a set of arrows.
